Troubleshooting & FAQs

Q: My Hovering Witch isn't turning on. What should I do?

A: Let's get her floating again! Here are a few simple steps to help troubleshoot:

1. Check the connections:
Make sure all the cables are securely connected as shown in the instruction sheet. Double-check that the adapter (Part Z3) is properly plugged in and that the threaded cap is fully tightened.

2. Look for the red indicator light:
On the white control box (located in Part O), there should be a red light. If it's lit up, you've got power! If it's set to OFF, switch it to SENSOR to activate the witch. If you see red light indicator, but nothing happens, it may be time to replace sensor.

3. Still no power? No worries—let's narrow it down.
Try plugging the adapter directly into the black wire from the white control box. If the red light comes on, that means the adapter and control box are working! From there, double-check the connections between Parts Z, K, N, and O.

If the red light doesn't come on, the adapter might be the issue. The Hovering Witch uses a 2A outdoor adapter, so try swapping it with another one if you have it.

Q: My Hovering Witch's eyes and hand aren't lighting up. What can I do?

A: Here's what to check:

Start with the power:
Do you see a red light on the white control box?

If no, check out the troubleshooting steps under "My Hovering Witch isn't turning on."

If yes, great! That means there's power.

Try LIGHTS ONLY mode:
Set the control box to LIGHTS ONLY—this should turn on the LCD eyes and the light in the hand. If the lights don't come on, double-check that all cables are connected properly according to the instruction sheet (Steps 4.3, 5.2, 6.1, and 8.2).

Still no lights?
Switch the mode to SENSOR. This mode activates the lights, sound, and animation. Make sure the sensor isn't blocked and is properly connected to the white control box (Step 8.2).

If sound and animation work but the lights don't:
At this point, we recommend replacing the hand (Part L) and/or head (Part P), as they may be the source of the issue.

Q: My Hovering Witch's mouth doesn't move/makes a clicking sound, head doesn't turn. What should I do?

A: If the mouth isn't moving or you hear a clicking sound from the jaw, it's likely time to replace the head.

If the mouth is working but the head isn't turning, the motor (Part MOTOR) may need to be replaced.

Q: Can I purchase 2024 Sensor for my 2022-2023 Hovering Witch?

A: The 2024 sensor isn't compatible with the 2022 control box. If you need a new sensor, no problem—you can use the 2024 sensor by pairing it with a 2024 control box. Let us know if you need help getting the right parts!

Q: Can I buy 2024 parts for my 2022-2024 Witch?

A: At this time, only the base, costume and adapter are compatible.
